Payment Policy

Understanding fees, responsibilities, and financial terms on the Censula platform.

  Last Updated: June 2026

This Payment Policy governs the use of paid and unpaid services offered through the Censula platform. By using Censula, you agree to comply with this Payment Policy in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Current Service Availability

At present, Censula is provided free of charge. Users may create, manage, and operate conferences through the platform without paying any subscription fees, setup fees, or service charges unless otherwise specified.

2. Future Pricing and Service Plans

Censula reserves the right to introduce subscription plans, premium features, service fees, transaction fees, or other paid services in the future.

Any pricing changes will be announced in advance through the platform, official website, or registered email addresses. Continued use of paid services after such changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing.

3. Conference Registration Fees

Conference registration fees, publication fees, attendance fees, or any other participant payments are the sole responsibility of the conference organizer.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Censula acts only as a conference management platform and does not:

  • Collect participant registration fees on behalf of organizers
  • Process conference-related payments
  • Hold funds in escrow
  • Guarantee payment collection
  • Act as a financial intermediary between organizers and participants

Organizers are solely responsible for managing, verifying, and administering all conference-related payments.

4. Payment Verification Features

Censula may provide optional features that allow organizers to collect payment slips, upload proof of payment, or verify registration payments. These features are provided solely as administrative tools.

Censula does not validate, audit, or guarantee the authenticity of uploaded payment documents. Organizers are responsible for reviewing and approving payment submissions.

5. Taxes and Regulatory Compliance

Users are solely responsible for determining and complying with any tax obligations, reporting requirements, invoices, receipts, or financial regulations applicable in their jurisdiction.

Censula does not provide tax, accounting, or legal advice.

6. Refunds

As Censula currently does not charge platform fees, no refunds are applicable at this time.

If paid services are introduced in the future, applicable refund terms will be published and incorporated into this Payment Policy.

7. Service Suspension for Non-Payment

If paid services become available in the future, Censula may suspend, limit, or terminate access to premium features for accounts with overdue or unpaid balances, subject to applicable laws and contractual obligations.

8. Third-Party Payment Services

Censula may integrate with third-party payment providers, gateways, banks, or financial institutions. When using such services, users may be subject to the terms, privacy policies, and processing rules of those third-party providers.

Censula is not responsible for failures, delays, disputes, chargebacks, or errors arising from third-party payment systems.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Censula shall not be liable for:

  • Payment disputes between organizers and participants
  • Incorrect payment verification decisions
  • Lost or delayed payments
  • Fraudulent payment documents
  • Banking errors
  • Currency conversion losses
  • Financial losses resulting from conference cancellations or organizer actions
